We're a small, hands-on landscaping company rooted in Green Bay. Here's how we got here — and what we believe about the work.
Lisa grew up on a small dairy property outside of Pulaski, Wisconsin, where she spent more weekends than she can count helping her grandfather rebuild stone walls and plant windbreaks. She studied horticulture at UW–Madison, worked seven seasons for a high-end residential design-build firm in the Twin Cities, and came home to Green Bay in 2014 to start Garden Gate from her garage on Garden Gate Court.
What started as solo design work and weekend installs is now an eleven-person crew, two design trucks, a fleet of plow vehicles, and a yard waste recycling program that diverts roughly 40 tons of material from the landfill each year.
"We're a Green Bay company first," Lisa says. "Our customers are our neighbors. That changes how you do the work."
If we book your install for May 14, we are at your house on May 14. Not "sometime that week."
Proper base prep, real soil amendments, the right plant for the right spot — even when nobody would notice if we cut corners.
Two-year written warranty on installed plants. Hardscape workmanship guaranteed for five years. In writing.
Garden Gate Landscaping LLC is fully insured for general liability and workers' compensation. We carry pesticide applicator credentials through the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP), and we're members of the Wisconsin Nursery & Landscape Association.
